The holidays will be a little more special this year for deployed veterans. Right Lawyers and the USO campaigned across southern Nevada for donations for care packages. The goal was to send care packages to local military deployed overseas during the holidays.
The campaign entitled, Operation Care Package, was a huge success. Donated items included essential items, such as protein bars, beef jerky, toothpaste, baby wipes, foot powder and batteries.
Rock Rocheleau, a divorce attorney with Right Lawyers, led the efforts for Right Lawyers. Rock served in the U.S. Air Force and was honored to partner with the USO to support troops deployed during the holidays. After further discussions with Keri Serrano, the USO Nevada Center Director, an additional need was brought to light. Many local families struggle to provide for their families while their loved ones are deployed, and the need for food is critical.
Project Food Bank was then launched to compliment Operation Care Package. In additional to care package supplies Right Lawyers asked for non-perishable items to stock the food bank. Through the donation of nonperishable food/household items, the drive was able to assist 50 families of the local Nellis 926 unit. The three-week-long efforts resulted in an estimated $8,000 in care package supplies and $2,000 in food bank items.
Thank you to all who donated and made these efforts a success. For more information on Right Lawyers, please visit: https://rightlawyers.com/
